The short version

No account. You never sign up or give us your name, email or phone number.
No tracking. No advertising IDs, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.
Your location stays yours. We only use it to find places near you. We do not store it or build a history of where you've been.

What happens when you tap "I'm here"

Your phone shares your position with the app. To find places, the app sends coordinates rounded to about 100 metres to these open-data services:

OpenStreetMap (Overpass and Nominatim): nearby places and the name of your area. We send these through our own server so the results can be cached; the server keeps no logs of who asked.
Wikivoyage / Wikipedia / Wikidata: the "famous for" guide, photos and short descriptions.
Open-Meteo: local weather and time.
OpenStreetMap map tiles: the map picture, shown only when you open the Map view.

Each service has its own privacy policy. None of them receive anything that identifies you.

What is saved on your phone

Your saved places, language choice, walking distance, and the last area you viewed are kept only on your device, so the app works offline. To clear them, delete the app or clear its data.

Children

Yumloka collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
